Somnium Space resident and psychedelic artist Natural Warp will soon be launching an amazing new collection on Async Art. The name of the project? ∞ 360° Nfinity ∞, a unique ‘programmable blueprint’ collection.
To fully grasp what this is about you need to understand the concept of generative art.
Generative art refers to any art practice where the artist creates a process, such as a set of natural language rules, a computer program, a machine, or other procedural invention, which is then set into motion with some degree of autonomy contributing to or resulting in a completed work of art. – Wikipedia
Some well-known generative art projects include Crypto Punks and Bored Apes.
In the case of Async Art, using their so-called Blueprint Template, artists can actually create generative collections from their very own artworks. And this is what Natural Warp has done using his unique 360° art pieces. More specifically, he combines more than twenty different 360° artworks – which he has created over the last 5 years – into this one programmable collection. Powered by the Blueprint Template, the number of possible outcomes is 10.000+
These outcomes are in the form of ‘photographic shots’ that are taken from inside the 360° spheres. A total of 888 shots will ever see the light of day; unique, spellbinding works that draw you in.
