Artur Sychov, founder and CEO of Somnium Space, the open, persistent, blockchain based Virtual Reality platform, gave Anna Stewart of CNN a tour of his creation.
Anna Stewarts excitement was genuine when she joined Artur in Somnium Space. While she had much preferred a dragon costume, her producer wanted her in a suit instead. She can always rejoin as a dragon when the cameras aren’t rolling though. And she may very well do that.
Artur showed her around and gave a her a tiny little sneak peek of what Somnium Space as a platform allows people to do. The take away from his tour is that many people do not yet realize what the platform is capable of. Once they do find out though, a whole new world opens up for them. Somnium Space is a platform where you can socialize, play games and do business. Not tomorrow or next year, but already today. The platform has been in alpha since 2017 and officially launched early 2020.
As for Anna Stewart and CNN, they deserve credit for actually doing a deep dive and meet the founder of Somnium Space in VR. Most media companies don’t. Well except for the Somnium Times of course, but we are a native Metaverse news agency. The first of its kind.
