Somnium Space knows how to throw a party, and last night was no exception. In the heart of the metaverse, at GenesisVR OMG Tron Club, 25 or so people/avatars came together for an unforgettable evening of music, dancing, and connection during the spectacular DJ party called ‘Electric Eve’.
The event featured electrifying sets by DJs Shodah and RocketVR, whose beats had everyone—myself included—dancing the virtual night away. I can confidently say it was one of the best DJ parties I’ve ever experienced in Somnium Space. It was all happening in Somnium Space 3.0—not just an upgrade, but a true evolution from its predecessor, Somnium 2.0. The leap forward is astounding. The stunning visual fidelity and immersive beauty, especially when experienced through the Somnium VR1 headset (which I’m fortunate enough to own), showcase just how far the platform has come.
Somnium Space 3.0 has matured into a hub where creativity knows no bounds. Whether you’re shooting professional films with the advanced drone system, launching a business to mint and sell avatars or wearables, or simply meeting up with friends to explore the platform’s expansive offerings, Somnium delivers. It’s a world of endless possibilities, designed to empower and inspire creators, entrepreneurs, and explorers alike.
Back to Electric Eve. One of the evening’s highlights was Artur Sychov’s skillful demonstration of how to dance. Who needs to wait for a dance partner when you can summon your very own?
DJ Shodah added an extra layer of cool to the night by using the Somnium VR1 headset, leveraging its high-quality pass-through feature to stay immersed in the metaverse while seamlessly interacting with his physical DJ deck. It’s incredible to see how the VR1 bridges these worlds, creating an unparalleled DJing experience.

Personally, with Somnium’s drone system, I was able to film the event, capturing the vibrant energy of the crowd and the mesmerizing visuals of Somnium Space 3.0. Everything just looked sharper, brighter and more immersive than ever, thanks to my VR1.
Beyond the music and dancing, what makes Somnium special is the sense of community. Last night wasn’t just a party I felt; it was a celebration of friendships, creativity, and the endless possibilities of the metaverse. Somnium Space continues to prove that it’s not just a virtual world—it’s a place where dreams come alive, connections are forged, and unforgettable memories are made.
I found myself unable to drift off after the party, replaying the conversations and reliving the unforgettable moments at the club. Even now, as I write this, those memories linger vividly. That’s the magic of virtual reality—it stays with you, as real as any experience in the physical world.
