It was a beautiful sunny day in the eastern part of the countryside, with blue skies and large grey and white puffy clouds dancing above my town. However, the frigidness of the winter months still brought a constant crisp chill to the air, drawing me indoors. My body craved the warmth of the house and all the comforts and shelter from this bright winter’s day. Nestled into my quiet home, I decided to take my mind and senses into another realm—a world of adventure, in Somnium Space.
Today, curiosity led me to a very special Somnium Space parcel: the Somnium SOPRG Gallery, an art destination for lovers of art from all walks of life. I was instantly inspired and captivated by the amazing real works of art in the space. Somnium Prucha’s Gallery is a museum with art created by real artists and digitized into NFTs for purchase. This gallery showcases stunning artwork that intrigues any visitor with its authenticity and clever way of supporting artists while providing inspiration.
Let’s delve into what I saw! During my visit, I entered the first floor and was greeted by six stunning works by the artist Katerina Sluneckova on exhibition. Each work was a masterpiece in my eyes.
The first painting that caught my attention depicted a mysterious young girl with bright blue eyes, wearing a medical mask covering her face. As I studied the image, I noticed two smaller children held by the girl’s hands in what looked like a bowl. It was an intriguing ensemble and a piece that evoked wonder.
As I journeyed through the gallery, more images stood out, including a sweet infant sleeping with its dreams. This image tugged at my motherly instincts and reminded me of the sweet memories I hold with my own young daughter. It made me contemplate the artist and sparked curiosity about the inspiration behind all these pieces.
I ventured deeper into the galleries, ascending a ramp to the second floor with more impressive works. It must feel amazing to have one’s work collectively displayed in one space—to see the dedication and years, each brushstroke in one place. With more and more to see came more and more inspiration with each moment that passed on this parcel, I couldn’t help but be in awe!
I was inspired by this parcel and delighted to share some of my day in this atmosphere of art, experiencing a sense of vulnerability throughout the works. It’s a place to visit again and again, a space built to inspire.
Visit the parcel for yourself on #3250.
