He discusses the eagerly awaited Live Forever Mode, slated for an upcoming alpha release. Through this feature, users will have the ability to capture their real experiences in virtual reality and input this data into AI learning models that will drive platform NPCs (non-player characters/avatars). While this may sound somewhat abstract, it will essentially enable what Artur explained: you, and anyone else, will retain the capacity for ongoing conversations with your digital counterpart, even long after your physical presence has ceased.

Now, integrating AI into the Somnium Space platform, is one of the major enhancements that are part of the Somnium Space 3.0 update, coming later this year.

Somnium Space firmly upholds user’s rights to govern their own data. Consequently, they abstain from gathering or preserving any user data on their servers. Instead, all information derived from user’s VR interactions is kept locally on their personal computer in the universally accessible and shareable Experience Data Format (EDF).
This user-focused strategy not only grants users full authority over their individual data but also introduces opportunities for decentralized and transparent data exchange or commerce. Researchers in pursuit of data for a variety of purposes can establish direct connections with users within the Somnium Space platform.
