Get your name/logo PERMANENTLY on the front page of the Somnium Times!
You read it correctly. PERMANENTLY! A limited number of 4 permanent equal sized small banner slots (suggested aspect ratios between 5:1 and 7:1) are available – under the main slider of the frontpage – so make sure to get yours now!
How it works? Go to our OpenSea NFT collection and buy the Front Page Banner NFT. As long as you hold the NFT, the banner slot on our front page will be yours! You can do with it what you want (restrictions apply, read the next section) and even monetize it by selling banner space to your clients.
With a permanent front page banner slot also comes exposure in VR as we have equivalent slots on the façade of our magnificent HQ in Somnium Space.
Maximum number of times you can switch ad/logo per banner slot per year is 12. Minimum time per ad/logo is 1 month.

Sidebar Ads
Sidebar ads appear both on the front page and all article pages!
Sidebar Ad NFTs can be purchased anytime and when redeemed your ad (aspect ratio 1:1 or 3:2) will be up for 1 month!
How it works? Go to our OpenSea NFT collection and buy the Sidebar Ad NFT. When you want us to put your ad on our site, you can redeem your NFT by contacting us on Discord in the #advertise-promote channel. We will then DM you to sort out the details and after you transfer the Sidebar Ad NFT back to our wallet, your ad will be up.

Promo Posts
Promotional posts are a great way to get the attention from our visitors!
Promo Post NFTs can be purchased anytime and when redeemed we will work with you to write, publish (in the Somnium Times) and promote (on Twitter) your article!

When you want us to publish a promo post on our site, you can can redeem your NFT by contacting us on Discord in the #advertise-promote channel. We will then DM you to sort out the details and after you transferred the Promo Post NFT back to our wallet, we will start working with you to write and publish the post.

In-World
In-World Promos
In-World Promos are VR videos published on our YouTube channel!
In-World Promos are video promos (max length 2 minutes) that are recorded in-world (VR) in Somnium Space Metaverse. They are published on our YouTube channel and promoted via our Twitter channel.
In-World Promo NFTs can be purchased anytime and when redeemed we will work with you on the Promo (scripting, recording, editing).
How it works? Go to our OpenSea NFT collection and buy the In-World Promo NFT. When you want us to work on the video, you can redeem your NFT by contacting us on Discord in the #advertise-promote channel. We will then DM you to sort out the details and after you transferred the In-World Promo NFT back to our wallet, we will start working with you on the promo.

In-World Promo examples are interviews, reviews of your build, promoting your upcoming event.
Note also that In-World Promos take time to create. Therefore, contact us at least 3 weeks before it should be ready for publication.
What else you should know
Any advertisement, promo post, in-world promo must meet our standard. We only feature ads and promos that are directly or indirectly related to Somnium Space. To give an example, we will not accept ads/posts/videos for diet pills, but promoting your event in Somnium, a mixed reality headset, a business with HQ in Somnium, or anything else that could be interesting for our readers and viewers will all qualify. Our decisions are non-negotiable.
In case you are in doubt, contact us on Discord before buying one of our NFTs.
Note that our NFTs are valid as long as we are running our Metaverse News Agency, associated website and social media channels. We recently celebrated our 2 year anniversary and we plan to be around for many years to come! In the unlikely event we’d have to cancel our operations, there will be no re-imbursement or compensation to owners of our NFTs.
FAQ
Q: If I purchase a Sidebar Ad NFT, which gives a 1 month ad, can I split this up so I can have multiple ads, e.g. 1 week for each ad?
A: We will try to accommodate you as much as we can, but the minimum time a single ad should be up is 1 week. Be aware that, once you redeem (send back to us) your Sidebar Ad NFT, you have a 2-month timeframe during which we can put your ad(s) on the site. After these 2 months you forfeit your non-used time.
Q: Can I split my 1-month Sidebar Ad into 4×1-week ads and have them on the site at the same time?
A: As long as they occupy the same ad slot we will allow this. Note however, your ads will rotate and number of impressions per ad will be lower. In case you want multiple sidebar ads on the site simultaneously in different ad slots, you can buy and redeem multiple Sidebar Ad NFTs
Q: Can I monetize my NFTs?
A: You are free to sell advertisement and promotion services – based on our NFTs – to your clients. The only thing we need is that the NFT is transferred back to us when you want to make use of our service. What you agree on with third parties is your business.
Q: Do you provide analytics data on ads and articles (like impressions and clicks)?
A: We do not specifically track nor provide impression/click data. Upon request, however, we can provide rough statistics on number of frontpage and post views, outbound link clicks, etc.
Q: If I buy the permanent Frontpage Banner NFT, how often can I change the ad/logo?
A: You can change the ad/logo maximum once (1x) per month.
