The Bard Block Café: Where Art, Sophistication and Entertainment Unite

On a quest to appease my appetite for the new and exciting, I found myself spending an evening in a brand new Web World created by SM Sith Lord for Somnium resident Blockmuse. A creation familiar yet foreign, in a sense all its own. A wonderful new spot to discover in the Somnium Space Metaverse where entertainment, art, and bars all unite. The world is purposed to invite art enthusiasts from all around to explore the bottom floor and enjoy a café bar. Goers can commune and lounge there as they identify the artistic proportions of the masterpieces that call the space home. Then, traveling up the stairs the venue offers a v-cast studio for the Somnium Communities’ entertainment. Creating yet another multi dimensional and sophisticated virtual reality venue. Full of excellence and intrigue.

In this newly revamped and highly anticipated build, SM Sith Lord served the impressive architectural aspects yet again; as he does with all his creations. Delivering points of interest again and again. From the various shapes of this build to the sleek colorful café bar, this venue gives guests a sense of style as they bask in the glow of fine art and neons. The illumination of the area is stunning. Hexagonal shapes transform colors across the bright floor and highlight the venue from top to bottom. As the floor brings in the light, the frame of the build brings it all together. Dark slate colored steel rods, pillars, and railing add in the sophistication and modern style to the Web World. While an intriguing spiral staircase winds up to the top floor, taking guests on an adventure to the v-cast lounge area.

Entertainment, and art were definitely the focal points of this build. The Web World offers display screen after display screen so viewers can look-on from most points of the the venue, and thanks to the open floor plan, can view art pieces from most vantage points. It’s strategically designed for viewing so that visibility and accessible are key features. Oh, the art exhibits to be had here, with large display screens on various walls, “works of art” are sure to shine through.

Now, to my absolute favorite aspect of this build, the outdoor space, which is nothing short of entertaining and amazing. As Metaverse explorers journey to the outer area of this venue they will be delighted to see a larger-than-life robot placed alongside this build. Adding a sense of fun and tying it all together. The robot glows radiant blues and greens, while motioning around in all directions. I found myself mesmerized as the robot would change faces, and spin around various geometric shapes in glee. It was hard to not be entertained by this cheerful feature added to this Web World. A beacon of fun to remind everyone to not take things so seriously and to just have fun with it – at least, I think so.

This Web World does it all. It ties in art, sophistication, entertainment, and fun all into one. Creating another wonderful and welcoming environment for all that seek it out in Somnium. From a cool and calming bar area to a dancing robot this Web World was a winner for me Then again, that’s not surprising.
