As you venture through the realms of Somnium, you may encounter their remarkable creations, such as the awe-inspiring OMG Ultra on parcel 4634. This digital sanctuary is teeming with exhilarating adventures and activities, housing a multitude of pocket worlds and interactive eSports.

While Ultra Lord’s creations bring the heat WooferBlast has shared his genius all around the platform, bringing the special and mysterious, With past and present endeavors including but not limited to the White Oak Conservatory, the “place for rare exotic animals and more!” The retro Woof’s diner, and even the Museum of Mystery and Folklore where the documented historical mysteries of the metaverse lie. With a latest addition to the platform named Chill, a spa slash nightclub oasis in Somnium located on parcel 4439.

When creative people join forces amazing things happen. One of these marvels is “The Somnium Show”, a collaboration between these two giants.

It was a bright summer day in Somnium Space when Ultra Lord and WooferBlast agreed to meet with me to discuss their show. Chairs pulled up and notebook in hand we dove into an exciting conversation about their collaboration. We discussed how it all came to pass, and what it’s like to work beside one another.

As all stories begin, I asked them about the inspiration behind the Somnium Show, and what attracted them to establish it?

“I was looking for a place to build and Ultra Lord offered me Parcel 3009,” said WooferBlast, “Ultra said I could do anything I wanted with it, as long as I held some kind of an event once a week. I am always trying to think of something different to build – something that Somnium Space doesn’t have yet – and so we decided to do a talk show and Ultra Lord joined as a co host.”

Ultra then chimed in:

“The desire for The Somnium Show was really inspired by some of the best talk shows in history. We conjured up some ideas collectively, and then the show was born! We wanted The Somnium Show dedicated to having fun, intelligent and awesome discussions, interviews and broadcasts throughout the metaverse!”

How did you guys get started?

“When we first began, we tried doing The Somnium Show as a regular talk show. I built the building and made the set to look like a typical talk show set and started interviewing other Somnium Space users. Ultra Lord joined the show as a co-host and we started doing the show together”, said WooferBlast. ”But I don’t think people were very comfortable talking about themselves on a show that was streamed live, and Ultra Lord came up with the idea of turning the show into more of a discussion group. This has been a big success!”

Ultra Lord then talked about what it took to keep the idea alive:

“With enthusiasm and vigor! With a clear intent on creating the best entertaining talk show in The Metaverse-verse-verse-verse…We aim to bring The Somnium Space community together, through laughs, debates, arguments and conversations. As we, each of us complete a mosaic of splendor and richness. Through our conversations and jest each of us grows through each other! For great ideas are always had among friends!”

What can one expect from the show?

“Expect the unexpected!”, explained WooferBlast. “We are always looking for ways to keep the show lively and entertaining.”

He continued explaining that the show would take place in various locations around the metaverse to keep it exciting and full of discovery. A sort of “Somnium Show Roadshow,” where for each show they’ll adventure to all the intriguing parcels as they discuss the interesting parts of life, technology, and more.

“At The Somnium Show one can relax and enjoy interesting conversations about hilarious topics,” said Ultra. “From past, present, and future! We go all into what’s happening in our world!”

Your fondest memories from the show?

“I don’t think I have one memory in particular. It’s always fun and fascinating”, WooferBlast stated, seemingly reminiscent of all the good times with the Somnium community, “You never know what someone is going to say. I like it when we run overtime. When the stream is over and yet we all keep talking because we’re really enjoying ourselves. Those are the best times. It’s wonderful to have a serious conversation now and then, and the show is a great way to get to know each other.”

Ultra Lord recounted his favorite memory:

“Our first episode at OMG ULTRA in Boom Shakala forest, discussing AGI in the new forest world was a surreal experience!”

The two seemed thrilled and ecstatic about all the awesome experiences they’d shared with Somnium and the Somnium Show, and when I asked them how it is working alongside each other Woofer and Ultra had nothing but good to say about their co host. Which is no surprise to hear, given the success of their Show.

“Working with WooferBlast has been awesome,” remarked Ultra Lord. “We’re always building new worlds together and conversing on various fascinating topics. He is the greatest.”

Ultra even applauded his comrade and gave a shoutout to WooferBlast’s community board.

Woofer Blast also shared similarly in his attitude towards sharing the space with Ultra Lord:

“He is the greatest. Really. I am not very good at public speaking so when I am having a difficult time, it’s always nice to have Ultra Lord here at my side to keep the conversation going. We depend on each other and I think we make a good team.”

As they always say, “Team work makes the dream work,” and these two are definitely seeing their dreams realized making one extraordinary Metaverse dream team.

As with all amazing things, and buzzing events in Somnium Space, I had to inquire about the future of the show.

“Expanding our horizons!” Ultra Lord told me. “As we discover awesome things on the internet and continue to build new venues, having great events, interviews and conversations”

WooferBlast continued:

“I want to look for ways to make the show even more interactive. It’s our show, but the real stars are the people who come to the shows and take part in the discussions. I want to keep making sets that enhance the environment and set the mood for the discussions, and I really hope that people will enjoy the show as much as Ultra Lord and I do. It’s a real challenge to come up with a new topic for discussion each week, but we try our best to think of things that will stimulate your imagination.”

Woofer also conveyed his vision to have an open and free discussion at all times during the show.

“Come to the show and speak your mind. I don’t want to stifle anyone or make them think that their opinion doesn’t count. I want everyone to speak freely.”

There you have it, a place where community and discussion take many shapes. Where experiences are shared and stories are told. All to build a stronger community and amazing Metaverse! Ultra Lord and WooferBlast have done it once more by establishing and creating for themselves and their communities a place of entertainment, conversation, and most importantly, fun.
