Diving Into the Infinite: SM Sith Lord’s Web World Adventure in Somnium Space

Another Web World by SM Sith Lord has popped up on the scene; a curious kind of build at that. It’s a three layer multi dimensional space, that takes you from where you are, to where you are again and again. So what I’m saying is that it’s a world that folds into itself. Step on the parcel and have an out of body experience as you can view yourself from two other different angles. A place to “portal into your own reality without leaving,” imagine that!

On Sith Lord’s recent build, on his weekly livestream, the creator concocted just that. A unique conceptualization materialized in non other than Somnium Space to woe its community and excite the mind. Let’s dive in.

Upon loading into this parcel I was surprised to see its exterior, unlike many of the Web Worlds of recent this one conveyed simplicity. Almost resembling a real world modern home, or chic duplex. I was intrigued. I floated along the exterior viewing anything that would stand out, but its external look didn’t boast anything ornate or elaborate. The outside proved to be simple, sophisticated, and inviting without the slightest bit of bright neons or anything grand. Though one might usually expect this from this master Metaverse builder, I certainly did, but I digress.

The outdoor space displayed sandy grounds, happy little shrubs, and medium sized trees to welcome visitors along the walk way to its entrance. Sleek lines, and an element of modern architecture with an essence of minimalism around the area. Setting the tone for hip but not over-done; delivering a relaxing and at home-style vibe indeed.

Inside this venue, or should I say home away from home, is the main attraction. The Web Browser screen that allows visitors to load in and view themselves and their surrounding three times over. An exploration deep inside a mirror image, or an out of body experience, in a mind bending metaverse phenomenon. Ever wondered what lies beyond a mirror image, like there’s something around the corner of what images in-front of you? Where deep within a mirror was a whole other dimension, more than just the occurrence of light reflecting but an entire world? Though this is a contemplation within myself, this world reflects an element of that expression.

A look within and all around where you find yourself; users can turn on the browser and have fun exploring their environment, and then doubling up and exploring it again, and one more time! Like when you’ve opened your medicine cabinet along the main mirror of your bathroom, and see yourself multiplied; though way more advanced!

This world will draw in and put you right back where you are again and again. The portal folds to where you are so you can visualize your space from all angles. A sign in the main room reads ”how far will the rabbit go?” As it greets and gives Somnium users a glimpse of what they’re about to experience.

It’s a wonderfully thought out experience that will not take you away, but pull you in. Internalize what is and remain there until you’ve reached a point of enlightenment. Or just stay for kicks and have a blast folding into your environment over and over!

This world was a delight to explore and a wonderful space to observe and contemplate in! Another delightful Web World for the books, and another wonderful world to add to the amazing Somnium Space Metaverse!
