On February 20th, 2022, Cess Aka Scessions, a Pinellas County native, is going for the longest hip-hop freestyle marathon: 44 hours (44 hours, 44 minutes and 44 seconds to be precise). It can be followed on YouTube and Twitch as well as via WebXR (Somnium Web) at his venue “The Bassment” on the shores of Deep Oasis Lake in Somnium Space.
About Cess
Cess has been on Twitch for two years, broadcasting and freestyling. His freestyling record attempt will be a celebration of 1,000+ followers on Twitch as well as the growth of his brand SIRVM.tech which hosts a recurring weekly event in “The Bassment” in Somnium Space, every Monday at 10p EST. All this momentum has led to this point of using all available networks to execute one common goal.
I’m going for the Guiness Book Of World Records on Sunday February 20th at 8am (EST) until Tuesday 4am (EST) and would like to extend an invite to everyone to join me for this 44 hour attempt of the longest freestyle marathon hosted in FLorida with Derek Donnely, Jadget Gam and the Art Village in Pinellas Park. I have been practicing and ready to go. We will be making this attempt In Florida in-real-life and in the metaverse in Somnium Space at parcel 4730 – in the web xr version of Somnium Space
Event Location
The physical event will partake in Pinellas Park, Florida, at Derek Donnely’s Art Cove (Saint Paint). Derek is a muralist and extremely talented artist who is delving into NFTs, VR, and The Metaverse (web3). Derek Donnely’s Art Cove has been an instrumental part of their growth in the art village.
Jadget Gam (pronounced Gadget Jam) and its affiliates are a band that sets up visuals and music in a block party format. Comprised of interchangeable available members: Wulang Wang, Scessions, Gov Printz, Isiah the Prophet, Harlow Gold, DJ Moving Pieces, DJ Space Cheech, and a range of different venues performed around the Pinellas area with a collection of Gadgets to make improv music together with the crowd’s participation.
Note that while this will be at a public location, due to covid and other factors, this will not be a spectator event during the 44-hour attempt and only viewable online.

Funds
The plan is to take a portion of the funds and putting it towards creating a workshop aimed to motivate the underprivileged youth in the area. A press-kit will be put together to let the citizens of the surrounding areas know what is being done for the culture of hip hop and creativity for the art culture as well that has been thriving in the area. To let everyone know you can accomplish anything you (and your crew) put their minds to.
Finally, the attempt will abide by all the rules and regulations the GUINNESS BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS recommends.

Yes I am definitely excited to go for this attempt because it is a chance to challenge myself physically and mentally of where I’m at now at this moment with my freestyle skill and I’m only getting older so want to cement my attempt for myself and others who appreciate freestyle.
This is going to be monumental: The ultimate goals are exposure for the art community here in the area and just to reaffirm my belief and capabilities in myself. We can all create and do anything in our mind’s eye and we (Jadget Gam and the crew) We are embracing and headed toward the future on this vehicle of an event since we are attempting this IRL *in-real life and Web3 *Somnium Space. This will exponentially catapult all of us to new heights.
