BREAKING: Extravaganza VR Metaverse Land Offering on OpenSea

Somnium Space came with a great announcement yesterday: From April 18th to 28th, there will be a new Land Offering on OpenSea, the NFT marketplace. 100 parcels, 10 WORLDs and 1 Exclusive 9-XL Estate will be on auction. And what’s special? They’re all listed in Somnium CUBEs, Somnium’s very own utility token.

This is great news for anyone looking to obtain virtual NFT real estate and/or NFT WORLDs. Having access to land in Somnium opens up a whole array of possibilities. And as far as WORLDs are concerned, these unlock features allowing you to upload custom developed immersive experiences to Somnium.

The Parcels

Both roadside and inner parcels will be on auction and they’re spread out over the entire Somnium Space map. So chances are there will be something to your liking. As mentioned, they’ll all be listed in Somnium CUBEs, so make sure to have these tokens in your wallet.

Stretching over a 10-day period, each day will see new parcels on auction. There will be heavy bidding for sure so make sure to keep a close eye on OpenSea.

The WORLDs

Each day there will a new WORLD on auction as well. For those not familiar, Somnium Space NFT WORLDs are revolutionary NFTs that allow you to upload custom developed immersive experiences to Somnium Space and place portals to those on your land.

It’s related to the previous land offering, but explains how to prepare. Note that this time around no assets will be sold on Solana Holaplex, but only via OpenSea.

Also, assets will be sold via English (classic) auctioning. This implies that the asset will go to the highest bidder within the set timeframe.
