Join in this event by VR Venues from NOW until June 26th, 2023, as they invite you and your band to compete for a grand prize and the chance to perform in the Metaverse before those from all walks of life!
Audiences will brace themselves for a mind-bending journey through the realms of digital soundscapes, as you and your virtual ensembles unleash your boundless imagination and compete for the ultimate title of virtual music supremacy. Prepare to be enthralled, enchanted, and utterly immersed in the exhilarating future of musical performance. The question is, will you battle it out in the Metaverse’s very first musical competition?
You could be one of the 6 bands that will compete from the comfort of their homes/rehearsal room. Work with what you got, and give it your best shot!
Get a chance win a part of $1500 USD which will be split between the winner and second place.
It’s a competition for all! The contest will include all genres! (Blues, Reggae, Classic/Alternative, Rock, Hip Hop etc.) so share your genre with the sweet tones of your musical expression!
There will be two types of voting: public and jury.
The event will be split into two rounds. The first round will be a Somnium Space web-world event where all bands will perform (split in two days on August 18th and 19th) for 15-20 minutes each, followed by five minutes of jury feedback. After the first round, three bands will be selected to move to the final round.
The final will be a live event in a Somnium Space VR World, where the three selected bands will perform once more, followed by both public and jury voting.
