Somnium Space Fashion Week 2022

Starting September 7th, a mixed reality (physical/VR) fashion show will be held in Prague and Somnium Space Metaverse.

Get ready for the biggest event of the year: Mixed Reality Fashion Week happening in Prague and in Somnium Space.

After last year’s amazing VR Avatars Fashion Show, fashion will once again take center stage, this time as a mixed reality event simultaneously held in Prague and Somnium Space. The aim is to connect designers and brands with consumers from around the globe using the most advanced technologies.

It promises to be a unique event, first of its kind, utilizing technologies like Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Full Body Tracking, Holograms and more. Models will wear teslasuits during the physical event while also appearing live in VR in a newly built Fashion World, based on the revolutionary Somnium WORLD NFTs.

Bridging virtual fashion with an IRL component is key in showcasing digital fashion and all the technical possibilities Somnium Space has to offer.

Callout to the community, creators and brands

Community members, creators and brands are invited to participate in this unique possibility to present your best avatar collections and be a part of the future’s fashion experience. The best avatars will be selected for the main mixed reality fashion show, and some for the avatar exhibition that will run throughout the entire fashion week.

If you want to participate, send your best creations to natalia@somniumspace.com before August 24th, 2022, to get a chance to be featured and promoted during this inaugural event.

To have a chance to be selected, send a screenshot from inside Somnium Space of your avatar(s). If your avatar is selected we will ask for the 3D asset and it will to be added into the “avatar gallery” by the Fashion World builders.

If your avatar is chosen for the mixed reality show on September 7th, you will be asked to act as virtual model so you can show your avatar on the catwalk.

You can join the fashion show in both virtual reality and IRL. The physical show kicks off in Prague, Czech Republic, on September 7th, 17:00 CEST.
