Somnium Space, the open, persistent and blockchain based virtual reality platform, announced that it will integrate with the new Teslasuit Glove as part of a bigger update referred to as Somnium 3.0.
Artur Sychov, founder and CEO of Somnium Space stated:
With exclusive Teslasuit full body haptic suit integration, we significantly enhanced immersion, but with the Glove integration, we are taking it to the next level

We all remember the impact of being able to use Teslasuit’s full body haptic feedback platform in Somnium Space. It brought the first 5 sensorial experiences to Somnium, rain, touch, shooting, music and full body tracking, and it opened the door wide open to next level immersion.
With the Glove integration, giving tactile presence, a whole new range of immersive quality enhancing sensations will be available to its wearer.
Teslasuit Glove
Teslasuit states:
Tactile presence in XR keeps our mind immersed bringing physical sensations into virtual reality. The ability to touch and feel virtual objects opens up endless possibilities.
Teslasuit Website
The Glove is an amazing, one size fits all piece of technology. It offers haptic feedback, force feedback, motion capture, finger tracking and a biometric system.
The haptic feedback technology for each finger can emulate sensations and create perception of solid object texture and various surface types. Imagine grabbing a ball or touching a tree in Somnium Space!
The force feedback system creates resistance and provides the perception of shape, size and simulates vibration of equipment. So not only would you be able to sense the surface of the ball you grab in Somnium, you will have a clear perception of shape as well.
The Glove also integrates with Teslasuit, VIVE trackers or Oculus controller to provide accurate information on the user’s relative position. As for the fingers, a finger tracking system interprets finger movements very accurately.
And as if that wasn’t enough, built-in sensors gather biometric information like the user’s heart rate, which is processed to measure physical reactions during immersive experiences.
Somnium 3.0
Artur Sychov mentioned that the integration will go live together with the next big update, referred to as Somnium 3.0. We do not know a whole lot about it just yet, but according to Artur it will introduce new creation tools, social interactions, and VR multiplayer capabilities.
We can’t wait. And we can’t wait for the moment to walk through the Somnium landscape dressed in a Teslasuit and equipped with Teslasuit Gloves.
Stay tuned for more information.
