The eighth week of Somnium Space’s Road to Secondary Land Offering (or Road to SLO in short) finished on Saturday, May 9th, after 3 days of Dutch-style auctioning of 25 parcels and one 8 x Medium parcel Estate.
The emphasis was on Medium sized parcels this time (with some S and XL parcels on auction as well), which is of course reflected in the overall amount spent (previous auctions focused mainly on XL parcels). In addition, this week saw one 8 x Medium Estate on auction, whereas the previous weeks had multiple XL Estates.
However, when taking the above into account it is clear that the spending (per parcel and parcel type) was completely in line with the previous, highly successful, Road to SLO weeks. To check previous weeks, see first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh week of Road to SLO.
The Road to SLO is 10 consecutive weeks of parcel auctioning by Somnium Space. After the Road to SLO the company will announce the date of the Secondary Land Offering (SLO), which is most likely happening during the second half of 2020. Parcels near City Center
The eighth week focused on Medium and XLarge parcels near Somnium Waypoint. It is a very attractive location as people usually spawn in the center and will easily find their way to these parcels.
